Can I install the unit myself?
We do recommend that installation is made by our engineers, however, it is possible to install a unit yourself, You will need to appropriately assess the positiionng and ensure there is a suitable water supply, power supply and drain access.

Do I need a drain?
Yes it must be below the level of the ice maker (gravity drain). An optional pump drain can be fitted where there is insufficient gravity fall.

Where does the drain need to be?
Below the level of the ice maker, if not possible a stand is available to raise the ice maker by approximately 16 Inches. Alternatively an additional pump is available

Do I have to plumb it in?
Yes. All units require connection to an approved water supply

How close do the water and drainage services need to be?
Within 1.5 metres of the appliance

Do I need a stand?
Only if you need to raise the ice maker above the drain level or wish to raise from floor level.

Can I put it in my cellar?
Yes. The unit will require an ambient temperature of between 10c and 35c.

What about water softeners for hard water areas?
Bradshaw ice makers are designed to run without the need for water softeners, however hard the water in your area.

What shape/size are the ice cubes?
Ice cubes are 20 gram bullets
